“Buckingham Palace have today announced that Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, is to appoint Professor Barry Carpenter OBE, as Commander of the British Empire (CBE). The award is made to Professor Barry Carpenter in recognition of his national, and international service to the field of Special Educational Needs. An investiture will take place early in the New Year, at the Palace.
